Workshops: The Conference is compiled of the following Workshops:

Registration: You are welcome to register for the conference. For this:

I.                  send an e-mail on the following addresses  GeorgianMU@gmail.com   or to    GMU@rmi.acnet.ge  with the following information:

II.               Pay the conference fee and the hotel costs by transferring money to the account of the Georgian Mathematical Union in TBC Bank, Tbilisi. See details on http://rmi.acnet.ge/~gmu/E_Donation.htm

Conference fee: Basic conference fee is 35 Euro which does not include hotel price.         Accompanying persons are free of conference fee, but have to pay for hotel, excursions and meals.

Financial support: We have applied for a financial support, but the answer will become known only by the end of August. If the decision will be positive, we will be able to cover local costs (hotel, meals) for the plenary and invited speakers. It will also be possible to cover travel costs for a limited number of guests. Those who need travel support should apply for that to the Organizing Committee.  Those who will get financial support from us, will only pay 35 Euro Basic conference fee.

Accomodation: We negotiate with

Hotels “Liza” & “Eva”, Gonio (Seashore, 7 km. to the University)

         http://guide-georgia.ge/hotel eva in gonio

to reserve places for participants, but results of negotiation will become clear only by the end of August. In any case the prices will not be same and 120 Euro will not cover 7 nights in hotel.  We suggest participants to be ready to pay for a hotel between 20 and 30 Euro/person/day/ (one bed in a double room) or double for a separate room. The hotel reservation should be made better before August 31 and covered immediately after reservation  by a bank transfer.

Bank accounts for money transfer: can be found on the WEB address

                        http://rmi.acnet.ge/~gmu/E_Donation.htm

and we are ready to send this information to You on your request. Please indicate the purpose

of the transferred money (Name, X for Registration, Y for Hotel) and inform us by e-mail.

Please,  contact us if You have problems by money transfer to the account of the Georgian Mathematical Union in TBC Bank.

Transportation: Batumi can be reached both from Tbilisi and from Istanbul (daily flights in Summer). The airport is close to the city. Batumi is about 350 km west from Tbilisi, about 6-7 hours by train or a car.

Visa: Visa affair is the easiest part of the travel. Most of you do not need a visa for Georgia at all (citizens of EU countries, USA, Japan, Israel, Turkey, Canada, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova etc.). All remainders (including citizens of Russia) can apply for visa and obtain it while crossing the border of Georgia at official checkpoints, including all airports of Georgia  and excluding a sole checkpoint at Larsi, directly on the border of Georgia With Russia (North Osetia).

Cultural program: The program will include excursions in the beautiful surroundings of Batumi. You can visit museums, ancient churches and castles.

It is worth mentioning that Batumi is the most rapidly developing city in Georgia and had changed  a lot during the past 5-6 years. Weather at that time is very warm (the “velvet” season) and it is a great pleasure to swim in the Black sea.

Book of abstracts: We intend to print a book of abstracts of the conference. Those who are interested to publish the abstract have to sent us LaTex file prepared with the help of  the template file downloadable from the address

                              http://rmi.acnet.ge/~gmu/E_1_Annual.htm

Precondition for including the abstract in the book  of abstract is that it does not exceed 1 page, is sent to us before August 31 and the registration fee is paid on arrival.

See CNN about Batumi:  http://edition.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/world/2010/04/20/clancy.batumi.reborn.cnn.html

We are ready to answer all possible questions concerning the conference.
