Introduction

Since 1986 every year the Enlarged Sessions of the Seminar of the I. Vekua Institute of Applied Mathemathics of the Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University are organized and since 2000 publication of the corresponding reports and participation of scienticts from the Eastern European Countries were partly supported by ISPM. The lectures of the leading specialists give possibilities to the young researchers in the region to learn the new methods and to use them in their practice.
